ESS fails. Battery to grid fails

Hi,

I have installed 2 batteries of 16kWh and 3 mulitplus II devices and a cerbo GX and distributor. I have programmed the 3 phase system with VE.bus configurator and programmed it as a 3 phase system. I want to use ESS, so I enabled the ESS option. I have connected the MK3 to the system and tried to reprogram the whole system. That was not allowed, I need ESS, so I just selected the first one, L1, and programmed the ESS system into this unit. ESS appears on the system display now. Great, but not really. L1 seems to be seperate from L2 and L3. L1, L2 and L3 have all the switch to 1. L1 is doing nothing. No action and L2 and L3 are in float. The ESS works, because this is a 32kWh system and it should do battery to grid at a certain time. It was planned to put 15.99kWh back into the grid. So the targetted SoC was 47%. That’s is good (0.5 * 32 = 16kWh). But nothing happened. Now it got to 10%, but nothing happens. The Multiplus can only charge the batteries and I want to discharge because 100% is not good for the battery. How can I change that to 85%. But why can I only charge the batteries and battery to grid is disabled. Why?
I hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
Mark

Did you load the ve configbin all units? You cant just set L1 as ess, all 3 phases have to be set as ess

The ESS assistant has to be programmed onto all three inverters.
All programming done through ve bus system configurator. You should only program the individual inverters using ve config from there.

Have you looked at the training/manuals for it?
