Enphase Power Limit Venus OS DESS

Hi,

I have installed a Victron 3 Phase MultiRS configuration.

- 3 Phase MultiRS

-40kWh LFP batteries

-6480Wp Enphase PV Micro Inverters on AC OUT [Modbus TCP for power Limiting]

The Enphase micro inverters can be power limited by the Cerbo GX. I was expecting that when the energy prices were negative, the solar production would be set to 0 Watt?

this wasn’t the case, even though Power limiting is enabled, the solar production is not being reduced.

can someone help me what I did wrong?

Or is this just a bug in Venus OS 3.80~14?

AC-in is used for the grid connection

AC-out 2 is used for the household electricity, as well as the micro inverters are installed on this side.

forgive me, the time seen on the upper pictures is actually 12:59 and 13:00, as I’m working on this installation from another time zone.

Now I just switched the PV breaker off in the consumer unit, but this isn’t ideal, and this should work properly, right?

see next picture, without solar production.

forgive me, the time seen on this upper picture is actually 14:07, as I’m working on this installation from another time zone.

As is seen on the shedule, solar is included to charge from.

Thank you in advance!

I don’t see anything wrong, as you are importing to keep up with the load. I dont’t think your total electricity price can be negative, so you are making money using the grid

Please try to make me understand what you think is wrong looking at your pictures.

Is your cost for importing from the grid setup correctly? Is it really negative including the price for electricity and grid usage?

Sorry forgot to mention that when I unpluged my EV, the solar didn’t stop or was being limited. what lead to using solar instead of using the full 17 kW from the grid. If I use the 17kW from the grid, that is where you get money from, you don’t want the solar then.

Maybe I had to wait 5 minutes for DESS to limit the solar and only using the full 17kW grid power?

And Yes, we can have negative energyprices!

Impressive. That has never been the case here (Sweden). We have had negative prices, and then you don’t want to sell. But never as low as you want to consume as much as possible (unless you are paid to bring the frequence down).

Sorry. Can’t help you. It might be a limitation in the software. Maybe they have never thought of this. I guess you can solve it using NodeRed.
