Easysolar II in rv not utilising/prioritising PV power, batteries discharging

I have a Victron solar system installed on my bus (schematic attached) with no AC loads other than the Easysolar (showing 17w on AC loads meter) the PV is showing 24w but the batteries (lead acid deep cycle 2 x 12v in series 97ah Charger settings are absorption 28.8, Float 27.6)are showing a 47w discharge. This is in full sun. My house system (also easysolar) behaves as expected, PV supplying all AC loads and batteries on float. WHen I turned on the fridge in the bus the same behaviour. PV supplying load but batteries also discharging. I assume this is a configuration issue, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance for any assistance the hive can provide

First thing is that your SmartShunt is wired wrong, it only “sees” what the EasySolar is doing.

Thank you so much for linking that through. The schematic was provided by my supplier and I verified what I thought was correct with the individual component manuals…..but missed the “ONLY” detail. I will correct the negative connections in the morning and report back. Thanks again

So I moved all the connections (except the shunt) from the negative battery terminal to the load minus of the shunt. Nothing has changed except the battery protect is now showing various voltages ranging from 8 volts through to 21 volts and is returning an E3 under voltage alarm, shunt, smart solar and orion all show battery volts around 27.6 volts and both batteries tested with multimeter show 13.8 volts….thoughts?

So found the erratic behaviour on battery protect (blown fuse on ground lead) with that corrected and all connections moved to load minus of shunt, behaviour is as before AC loads 17w , PV 50w, battery discharge at 47w….

Bit more into required - battery voltage / SOC.
By description pv is producing power, but may be throttled due to voltage or soc.
