EasySolar-II 48/5000/70-50 MPPT 250/100 GX and Cerbo GX

Good morning everyone,
I have the following system:

8 x 405W PV
1 x Victron EasySolar-II 48/5000/70-50 MPPT 250/100 GX
24 x 2V 877Ah accumulators

Now my client wants to se the percentage of charge of the accumulators and if the PV is charging the batteries. It want to se it about 10-15m far away from the inverter.
The Cerbox GX with a GX Touch Display seems to me to be the best solution.
Unfortunately I didn’t find any schematics that show how to connect the EasySolar-II 48/5000/70-50 MPPT 250/100 GX with a Cerbo-GX I can’t figure out how to connect both devices together. The Inverter seems also to have already integrated a smaller version of the Gerbo GX. I found some information that indicates that I have to disassemble the inverter to disconnect the MPPT from the integrated GX device and connect it directly to the Cerbo GX. Is this really the case?
It is not also not clear with BUS (VE.Bus, VE.Direct VE.Can) do I have to use to connect the Inverter to the Cerbo-GX and how far away (max distance) can I install it both devices.
thanks in advance for your help
Regards

If the system is connected to a local LAN / internet, it will be easier to monitor remotely from a tablet or mobile phone. You cannot use two cerbos in one system and will have the problem of connecting the MPPT to the remote Cerbo. If it was a VE.Can model (unfortunately it is only a Smartsolar in the EasySolar II) you can connect it via a standard RJ45 cable as 10m is the longest VE.Direct cable available.

Hi ejrossouw,
the installation has no internet connection, but I could install a WiFi router (with DHCP) to create a local WiFi network. It would be enough? I mean, Can I connect the VRM app of the Tablet directly to the the Inverter or do I need to connect both devices trough the Victron VRM Portal?

There are a couple of options. Enable the GX device access point and connect to it, then type in the gateway that could be e.g. 172.24.24.1 and it will bring up the rconsole. Also, you can connect the system to an existing LAN via wifi or ethernet and then type in the GX device’s IP address for the rconsole. First options are local with no VRM. If you want to have full monitoring, then connect the system to VRM. Access is via the webpage or the VRM app.
