I am running an easysolar 24v 3000 and have the need to plug a phoenix 1200 on the side to power something else that can’t run on the easysolar.
I will put the phoenix after the smart shunt so to get the correct SOC but I would like to have the phoenix kept in consideration in VRM, adding his consuptions in the graphs.
If I buy a bluetooth dongle for the phoenix, can I make it talk to the easysolar so it knows there’s another element using power on the batteries?
If so, would I have to make the whole system bluetooth connected or can it be a mix of bt and cabled connection (shunt multi and controller are all wired together)?
Thank you
No one?
I may be wrong, but you may try to enable the “Has DC System” option in Settings - System setup and any additional consumption from DC - so from Phoenix - will be marked there.
Just want to make sure it will work before I spend a good amount for a phoenix and bt adaptor, if it doesn’t I might just get a cheap inverter but I rather go victron.
Appreciate your response nonetheless bud
No it won’t integrate other than as Alex pointed out. The DC loads function basically lists the missing DC loads that are connected directly to a battery bank and not accounted for by e.g. a smartshunt. The GlobalLink 520 may be an alternative to allow it to be monitored in VRM, but independently from the system. See VE.Direct connectivity
Didn’t know about the GlobalLink, will definitely look into it, thank you
