In my case there is inverter self consumption which apparently is not taken into account. This leads to DESS leaving too little energy in batteries so that there is not enough until morning. Energy is then taken from the grid at higher price than it was sold the previous evening. Although I would rather prefer this is fixed in DESS algorithms, 2nd SOC level below which batteries are not discharged to grid would allow to work around the issue.
