I’d like to suggest that the schedule granularity be improved to show specific weekdays, instead of just distinguishing between weekdays and weekends.
In my local grid company winter season tariff, Monday through Saturday have two different tariffs (day/night), but Sunday is entirely on the lower tariff. Having weekday-level accuracy would make it much easier to match the actual tariff structure.

Yes, but I understood that the weekday/weekend accuracy works the same way as the current implementation in the charging/discharging schedule. You can only choose either all weekdays or the weekend, not individual days of the week.

Good morning…I’m a bit disappointed. The issue of variable network charges is dragging on. While I understand that fundamental issues need to be resolved first and the new VRM interface needs to be integrated, more than two weeks have already passed and nothing has happened. A beta test was already announced? Are there any fundamental issues?
You are totally right. The duration of simple “variable add on” implementation lasts so long that no one can understand.
Basic question I would like to ask here:
Who can use DESS if almost complete EU is using variable grid fees which are often higher than power fees?
Without variable grid fees is DESS just complex money shredder….

Unfortunately, not everyone is able to maintain a civil tone of voice.
It’s a matter of respect. Unfortunately, many people today seem to have forgotten what that means.

Yeah, I think we have quite a few people in Finland and now rest of the europe waiting for this. The night/day price difference is big enough to change DESS scheduling significantly.
Currently I have set market price formula according to night pricing, and I have a charge restriction for the daytime. Unfortunately this causes DESS to not know about my expensive buy prices during the day, so it does quite a bit less work than would be optimal.
It’s a bit painful to see my investment not covering it’s cost optimally. I put many months of my savings into our system.

The only small cosmetic “problem” is the weekend being treated as one schedule, because I have a seasonal network contract:
But the overall impact of this on Sunday is so small that I can live with it

Thanks Barbara and thanks to the team as well. In Germany, we say “what takes a long time will be good.” Please excuse this little dig; I couldn’t resist. Thanks anyway… for me, this is the next generation of DESS, at least in terms of its economic potential. We’ve all spent the last few years discussing and arguing about many minor and major malfunctions. From a purely monetary perspective, all these developments were “peanuts” for me and many others here compared to this step. Thanks again to all the developers.
