Is it still necessary to set DVCC to 52.4 volts?

I seem to remember reading that charging is now interrupted when one cell exceeds 3.5 volts.

I disabled it once for testing and checked the cell voltages. One cell rose to 3.507 volts, while the lowest was at 3.474 volts. I then re-enabled it as a precaution.

What is best for the batteries now: set it to 52.4 volts, in which case my batteries show 52.1 to 52.2 volts, or disable it?

I think the best thing is to set the voltage limit to 52V; that’s more than enough, and your batteries will thank you.

There is no need to set a cvl override in DVCC ever, unless you are trying to fix a balancing issue by temporarily adjusting voltages, the purpose it was designed for.
Pylontech has a customised profile in DVCC so that should not be needed now anyway.
