Do I need to use inverter-generator with Blue Smart IP22 Charger 12/30(3)?

Or will a regular generator work fine?

Thanks. I can’t find an answer on the web. This is for a home backup system.

Well, thanks everyone for looking at my question. I had another thread on a different board and also made some phone calls. The consensus was that it would be okay.

I broke out the generator today, and plugged in the 240V house feed, and the charger worked fine. The charger’s Bluetooth said everything was good. Maybe this post will help someone in the future.
