Hey Everybody, so I was able to install and activate the Multiplus, Cerbo, Energymeter, Battery and AC Couple my Enphase PV on AC Out1. Also, with Enphase-modbus integration: PV Production data is in my VRM dashboard. Now, DESS does not seem to work optimally as the forecast at start of day looks logical but the reality at end of day is very different. Also, taking a closer look, the AC Loads in my diagram do not seem to reflect reality. Also, my Enphase Consumption CT is now giving an error while I’m sure it wasn’t before the Victron installation. I would really appreciate your pov on following questions.
I’ve attached a simplified system diagram/ DESS forecast and VRM Dashboard screenshot.
Enphase CT Error: I’m assuming that the CT is confused as there is now a battery involved. I’m not to bothered about that unless it would influence the DESS/Victron system. Victron ignores the Consumption CT, is that correct? Is there any reason why the Enphse consumption CT would play a role of any importance in the Victron eco system (eg.: frequency shifting/ dynamic power limiting) ?
The AC Loads in the VRM diagram seem to correlate with the PV Inverter values. When PV goes up, the AC loads go up. My assumption is that the AC Loads should only measure the ‘loads’ (what the house uses/ ignore battery). What can cause the issue here?
Given the fact that the AC loads is INcorrect, could that influence my forecast and the fact that DESS is not executing against forecast?
I also don’t understand why I’m still taking 1-4kwh per day from the grid while my battery SOC is mostly above 70%. But maybe the answer is in the above…
Appreciate any input, sorry for overload of data!
