Hi
I have two DC-DC 48-12-20 units, supplied to me to give 40a 12v output. The manual says to wire up multiple in parallel but doesn’t have any wiring diagrams. I contacted my supplier who supplied a diagram, but Im not convinced it’s correct.

Hi, It would help to post your supplied diagram for comments if you are in doubt about this.
In general, you should wire the 2 negative outputs to the -ve bus, and the two positive outputs, via a fuse to the positive battery bus. Equal length and size cables should be used for the positive and negative connections. (note length of positives does not need to be the same as the length of the negative cables).
Hi Mike
Thanks so much for your answer. I’ve attached the diagram the supplier sent me.
For the input’s I take it I just have separate 48V inputs for each unit?
Then connect the outputs like you mention?
Thanks again
Kind regards
Jack
The above wiring is series connected to give 24V.
The 48V inputs can be paralleled in a similar manner to that described for the outputs…\
Can someone please show how to wire (2) 48V-12/30A DC-DC converters in parallel to increase there output to 60A at 12V?
