We are currently integrating Modbus TCP communication with the Victron equipment we have recently acquired, and we would like to ensure that we are using the correct dbus-device-names for each device. Our system consists of the following components:

  • BPP900450100 — Cerbo GX (Modbus TCP)

  • SCC125110412 — SmartSolar MPPT 250/100

  • CHARGERHUB — Battery CAN BMS

  • MasterPylontech US5000 — 48 V LiFePo₄ Battery

  • PMP482160000 — MultiPlus 48/1600/20-16

  • ORI481240110 — DC/DC Orion-Tr 48/12-30A

  • ORI481210110 — DC/DC Orion-Tr 48/12-9A

  • ORI481224110 — DC/DC Orion-Tr 48/24-12A

After reviewing the official documentation available on your website, we identified numerous Modbus addresses associated with various services. However, to ensure an accurate and streamlined integration, we would like to confirm which dbus services specifically apply to the devices in our system.

Based on our initial assessment, we believe the relevant services are:

  • com.victronenergy.battery

  • com.victronenergy.multi

  • com.victronenergy.settings

  • com.victronenergy.solarcharger

  • com.victronenergy.system

  • com.victronenergy.vebus

Could you please confirm whether this selection is correct, or advise if any services should be added, removed, or replaced to ensure proper Modbus TCP communication?
