The consumption in the bar charts and the statistics is showing 0 kWh while there is PV power.
During the night (energy taken from the battery) the consumption shows up correctly
However the realtime data shows correct values also if I have PV power.
My setup:
Multiplus II with ACIn connected to grid and DC connected to a LiFePo4 battery
SMA PV inverter at ACIn
Shelly Pro 3EM as the grid meter
Victron Venus on a RaspberryPi - V3.60~83
Screenshot of the statistics:
What I already figured out is that the PV inverter power shows up at ACIn2.
The seeting is correct at ACIn1. Changing it to ACIn2 and ACIn1 does not change. The PV power in the debug is always showing up in at ACIn1.
I tried to dig deeper into the problem.
Using the PVINverterControl node in NodeRed itried the different settings.
0- should be ACIn1 bust power shows up at ACIn2
1- should be ACOut and correctly shows up at ACOut
2- should be ACIn2 and correctly shows up nowhere as the MP2 does not have a ACIn2
There is defenitely something wrong.
But I do not know if the PV Power showing up incorrectly at Debug - System Data is related to the problem that I do not have any consumption in the VRM statistics as long as I have PV power.
Actually the MP sits on Phase 3, so I had to swap the data from Phase1 and Phase3 at the Grid meter, otherwise the AC loads would not be calculated correctly
The PV inverter is not swapped, however, it shows almost the same power values on all three phases.
The funny thing is that sometimes the calculations of the statistics are correct.
Did you notice that the realtime data looks fine and shows AC loads.
Only the bar charts somehow does not show it.
This is the new virtual pvinverter in Venus OS v3.60 Correct?
I can’t remember the name, it’s still rather new, but there is a node to setup the phase(s) configuration. What’s the number that you used? You my need 3 or 4 there.
Good question.
The SMA PV inverter was detected automatically and I have set it to ACIn1.
It does not matter if I set it to ACIn1 or ACIn2 it always appears on ACIn2. Obly setting it to ACOut sets it correctly to ACOut ( as stated in the Debug … refer to screenshot above)
Calculationd in the statistics below the bar charts are always wrong. It tells me that there was no direct consumption from PV power.
