I recently installed solar panels on my boat, which also has shore power via a Multiplus. I want to charge my battery when there’s enough solar power with my solar panels but also want to let the inverter take care of the AC load via the solar panels.
I now have configured the ‘Prioritize other energy sources’ in the Advanced tab in Victron Connect, and also the ‘Conditional AC input’ set to become active when battery is under 60%.
Can these settings actually be used both at the same time? Which of the two is better for my battery life? Or should I only use the Conditional AC input and forget about the prioritize function?
