I am installing lithium batteries in my 2004 Gulfstream G7 diesel pusher motorhome. I am installing solar with Victron equipment. What do I need to do to make sure the generator and engine charging is correct for the battery change to lithium?
Thanks
Jay

Hi Jay,
You need chargers capable of setting the proper charge voltage profile for the particular batteries you purchased. There isn’t a simple answer to your question, even if you provided all the necessary detail. Your questions are best asked to your local Victron installer or distributor. They can help you design your system properly so that you will get all you need and be satisfied with the results.
I echo @OGPS. This is not a simple conversation to have via this forum. There are a number ways to approach it and even more perspectives on how to achieve them. I would locate an installer or distributor in your region. Don’t tolerate anyone that is not very familiar with Victron products. Most RV dealers are not. I make a lot of money fixing their installations.
When you get some basic ideas of what you are considering for an installation post it here on the forum. You will get plenty of feedback.
Or, (shameless plug) come see me in Central Oregon. We will get you all dialed in.
