Cerbo reboot when Inverter smart switched on

Hello Friends!

I have one boat with the following issue.

When Inverter Phoenix Smart 12/1600 conncted thru Ve.direct to Cerbo GX is power on the Cerbo GX re-boot. This happen when Inverter is switched on for the first time after a while.

If it switched off and on again the GX reboot doesn’t happen anymore.
If you disconnect ve.direct cable from Inverter to Cerbo in the same conditions the GX doesn’t reboot

It seems that there is a peak of current on Ve.direct that switch off Cerbo GX for a while

All power connections are checked as following:

  • The Cerbo directly on the battery bank
  • The inverter positive goes from the bus bar of the inverter and with a switch and fuse in the middle, negative goes directly to negative busbar

All the equipment have the latest firmware release

Any idea?

You switch the DC input of the inverter?
The high inrush current of the inverter causes a voltage drop that can cause a reboot of the Cerbo.

Why you don’t use the small switch at the inverter? Or the remote port? Or switch it from the Cerbo?
