Cerbo GX Shows DC Power Output with No Actual DC Load (Approx. 50% of PV Power)

Hi All

I am seeing persistent DC Power on Cerbo GX (~40–60% of PV output) even though there are no physical DC loads connected.

Key observations:

  • SoC increases normally from 0%

  • PV charger output ~1.6 kW

  • Battery charging correctly

  • No AC loads

  • No intentional DC loads

This occurs at all SoC levels, not only near absorption.

Does anyone experience this and if so, how to troubleshoot

Is your shunt set as a battery monitor?

We used SmartShunt 500A for the monitor previously and the symptom appears when we used the smartshung and we currently remove it. I am heading to site tomorrow to install a new smartshunt.

I’ve had strange DC readings that vary with battery current, but I have multiple shunts on different voltages.
