Capacity of a Cerbo GX to be connected to 2 motor drives

Hello,
I would like to integrate the Cerbo GX into the propulsion system of a catamaran with two electric motors connected via NMEA2000.

When I turn on only one of the two motors, the ‘boat’ page displays the active motor with the power and RPM data, and it appears in VRM and Node-RED.

However, when I switch on the second motor, the data on the e-boat page disappears and no motor is active in VRM and Node-RED.

I assume that only one motor can be displayed on the ‘boat’ page. However, with two connected via NMEA 2000, shouldn’t I have one of two displayed on the ‘boat’ page and both visible in VRM and Node-RED ?

Anyone having the same kind of setup or issue ?

Using Venus OS 3.70 - 49

Thanks in advance

Hi you are aware that youre using a beta version?

hi,

yes, not working at all (even with only one motor) with “official” version

Hi Quent2712,

Dual-drive support was added with the recent release of Venus OS 3.70.
More information on the blog post: Introducing Venus OS 3.70 - Victron Energy

If you would like to see how it looks, a new multi-hull demo is available on VRM: VRM Portal - Victron Energy

This will work for motordrives connected with NMEA2000 or CANopen.
Dual-drive support for Node-RED motordrives will be supported in a future release.
