Is there a way so when I log into VRM it takes me directly to my dashboard instead of the installation list?

yes, get to the VRM page you want to open, then save the URL as a bookmark. Then just open the bookmark. e.g.:
VRM Portal - Victron Energy/dashboard

My VRM app and widgets open directly to my main site. Usually this is configured in the app, it is definitely configured in the widgets.

Could you please show us how you set this “main” site? I cannot find such a preference

According to the manual, I should only see that page if I have more than one installation.
