BYD batteries possible bug with DVCC

Good day all,

I have a funny issue appearing every now and then (1-2 times a month)
The MPPT won’t switch on in the mornings because the charge voltage is lower than the battery voltage. See a snapshot below

To get my MPPT going, I need to set the ESS mode to keep batteries charged to “trigger” the battery. once the MPPT is switched on I can go back to my previous ESS state (Optimized mode w/o BatteryLife: self consumption, SoC at or above minimum SoC)

On a normal day the charge voltage setpoint is higher than the battery voltage.

What my config looks like.

What my setup looks like
3 x BYD BatteryBox LV5.0 connected using CAN (v1.91)
1 x MultiPlus-II 48/5000/70-48 (FW: 2623508)
1 x SmartSolar MPPT VE.Can 250/100 rev2 (V3.16)
1 x Energy Meter ET112 (V4)

I previously had a Bluenova battery where this never happened.
Disabling DVCC will most likely fix the issue, just not sure if there are major risks to doing it and if I will void my battery warranty.

in the meantime, I have a node red flow everymorning before sunrise, the ESS state is changed to plaster the issue with no real fix yet.

any support or thoughts would be appreciated.

Out of curiosity…
Which is the battery product ID reported by the BMS, found on Battery → Device → Product ID section of the Cerbo’s menu?

Why are you limiting the CVL in DVCC?
