Hi,
I am updating my current battery setup to be similar to the setup shown below (except without the AC Supply and Load and relevant Victron devices associated with AC.
I want to put a start battery isolator switch to the motor (motor cannot be started without it being turned on) and a house battery isolator switch to DC intsruments.. which switches should I use and where would be the best place to put these switches so the motor cannot be started without the motor switch being turned on, and the switch to turn off all other DC intsruments, but still allow the solar panel to charge the batteries.
Also, confirming that the Smart Battery connect will stop any draw on my batteries when it gets to the set limit (so I always have enough power to start my engine).
