1. Yes it is common to use the Victron programmable relays to drive a larger contactor / relay / solud state relay.
2. The specs of the BMV712 relay will be in the datasheet and the manual, they are quite limited. However, see the FAQ linked below, many people have damaged relays by using inappropriate devices.
