BMS & Distributor Connections

It is great that the Distributors and BMS bolt together but our enclosure is not long enough so we would like a solution to bolt at right angles. Think of trying to fit 4 of then in a bar fridge size space. We can get 2 on the back wall, then 2 on the side wall with the inverter on the other side. We need to join at a right angle amd given they are 1000A rated, not simple to achieve with cable and lugs without doubling up. Would like a clean and simple solution like a 1000A 90 degree M10 busbar joiner.

You can purchase copper bar stock with a sufficient cross section. Making a 90° angle like you need without welding would be challenging. Welding of copper is uncommon but it is possible. Copper bar does bend, but with the cross section you need it probably would be difficult to bend.

There are flexible busbars out there that will make a 90° bend. They can be expensive.

Doubling up the cable would be easier, faster and probably less expensive. Don’t stack the lugs. Use both sides of the Lynx busbar.
