bought an IP22 as a replacement for an old power supply in my campervan. Seem to have missed the fact, that my CV’s control unit expects a power sense information. Unfortunately the IP22 doesn’t seem to have one. Is there any possibility to work around that?
I am not sure what you are meaning by “CV’s control” and “power sense information” but i managed to utilize the internal VE-direct port in mine:
Well, the campervan has a little onboard unit that shows some symbol if we have AC power. That is controlled by an extra input that expects to be put on +12V if AC power is present. A bit odd but that’s how it is currently. So i was wondering if we can get such a +12V signal out of the charger. As the actual output connectors are directly connected to the battery, they always carry +12V
Yes the charger reports its battery voltage as shown in my screenshot.
