Hi All,
Thanks for your patience waiting for more info on this issue.
We now have a preliminary beta firmware version that is being tested to resolve this issue.
EDIT - see latest post for info about the beta firmware test
This is specifically for Blue Smart IP22 Chargers with a serial number between HQ2511 and HQ2551 that show a pulsing output (voltage + current peaks) under low current draw conditions.
Units produced before HQ2511 and after HQ2551 are not affected, and do not show this behaviour.
Once we have completed the beta testing phase the firmware fix will be rolled out as normal.
If there is some instance for a unit between HQ2511-HQ2551 where the behaviour is still shown despite the newer updated firmware fix, Victron Repairs will arrange an alternative remedy as long as it is clear in the RMA that the firmware fix has already been applied and was unsuccessful.
However we expect the firmware fix will be successful.
There may be further updates as we get more information from units in the field and the firmware is finalised.
Again, apologies for the issue and thanks for the reports and patience in the resolution.
