I am not able to get my 2025 Skoda Elroq linked correct - Any body with a Skoda ?
Hello,
The VW ID.3 drooped the VRM connection a few days ago and since then no way to reconnect again.
I disconnected the car and went through the ENODE connection process and everything seems fine, it gets connected the car is identified but does not show up in VRM. The payment interface has not shown up when reconnecting.
It has been working for several months without issues.
Any clue what’s happening?
The Cerbo is on V3.80~27

I just wanted to inform you that now on Beta VRM we have rolled out a new feature related to the vehicles. You will now get a push notification when the car SoC is under 50%, your house battery is full and there is excess solar so that you know you can start charging your car.

Charging “Guest EV” via Victron EV charger – OK
Charging “Skoda” via Victron EV charger – does not change from “Guest EV” when last contact is updated – waiting a bit longer –
After 15 minutes of charging it says “Škoda Elroq” – this happens 5 minutes after the last update is made – OK - Fine for me.
Not tested charging “Skoda” with an alternative charger, and charging “Guest EV” with Victron, since both cars are already charged.

You can re-link your Volvo C40 by selecting “Volvo” under the “Linked account” section and selecting your EV from the dropdown.

Hi @lucian Yes, I think so. What delay should I try when removing the Skoda and connecting the other car — 5, 10, 15, or 30 minutes — for testing? I can try this afternoon or tomorrow.
Normally, I unplug the Skoda and connect the other car within 1 minute to make the most of my solar energy.
PS: Maybe you can use the status information from:
Skoda
- “Not charging”
- “Last contact”
EV charger
- “Charge time”
For example:
If ChargeTime.start < last_update.timestamp and Charging state = "Not charging", then set vehicles = "Unknown".

Please try a 10-minute gap between unplugging the Škoda and plugging in the other car — detection works on a ~5-minute window, so 5 would sit right on the boundary. If you also do your usual <1-minute swap afterwards, that confirms the failing case for us too.
Your ChargeTime.start / “Not charging” suggestion is a good detection rule — I’ve included it in the internal issue for the quick-swap bug. Thanks!

Yes, it seems that a quick switch every now and then can register the wrong vehicle.
If I’m going to do further testing,
I’ll probably need a lower SOC on the cars
– set it to Manual mode 6A, and maybe find a single-phase cable.
