Hello everyone! New poster here. I purchased a 24v multiplus II 3000va, 120 VAC and a Cerbo GX to act as a UPS for critical servers and equipment. So far the installation went well. I use 6 12v 109 AH lead acid batteries arranged in series-parallel for around 300AH of backup. It took a while to get it configured correctly but managed to set the amp hours and charge rate. My question is the battery display shows very detailed info like SOC, charge or discharge amps and watts. Is there a way to make it also show hours and minutes to discharge or charge?
Also, is there a way to contact the manufacturer for help? When I go through the website, it connects me to a dealer (purchase the unit on Amazon). It would be nice to chat with the people who actually built it.
What are you using for a battery monitor? If you are using the monitor built in to the Multi, then you won’t get a time to discharge. If you are using a SmartShunt or BMV, you should get a time to discharge. None of them will give you a time to charge, however.
Thanks for the fast replies! I guess the only real info I’m looking for is time to discharge. With 300 AH of batteries it would be useful so I can load shed remotely if the time was getting low.
In system setup in the Cerbo change the battery monitor to the SmartShunt or BMV and then yes, it will replace the battery monitor in the Multi. But, if you are using assistants in the Multi that rely on SOC, then you will need to keep the battery monitor in the Multi enabled. There is no problem having them both enabled. System setup in the Cerbo will pick which one you want to see displayed on the touchscreen.
