Hello,
I am working on the the complete rewire of a 1927 boat.
The owner has already installed a torqeedo battery system with two Torqeedo 48-5000 batteries.
Data: 5275 Ah
Nominal Voltage: 44,4V
Discharge Cutoff Voltage: 36.0 V
Maximum Discharge Current: 200 A.
I am quite sure that these are original the SAMSUNG SDI 120AH 12S from the BMW i3, with some changes to the BMS.
We have a solar system with
600W … 51,79V VOC … 44V VMP
and this funky Torqeedo Solarcontroler with:
325 WP ..48V VOC max and 40,8V VMP
and a Torqeedo quickcharger 230V 2900W.
Now we added 4x LiFePo Batteries with 12,8V and 200Ah to the system.
The wohle system is controlled by a Cerbo Gx and a lot of useful blue VE boxes, which are quite smart to communicate with.
Is there any idea or any knowledge, how to get the energy from the Lifpos into the Torqeedos?
Tramsforming the 48V into 230V to use the quickcharger makes no sense…
And using a VE DC/DC Component to use the torqeedo solar charger might be a no go, because it is not the intended use.
Any information or Idea would be quite helpful.
Thanx in advance from germany!
