Im converting my system to all lithium although the alternator is a stock unit, thus ill be using a DC to DC charger for charging with the big engine is running. I have the Orion-TR Smart Isolated unit (12/12-18) plus I have a Victron Energy BMV-702 meter that needs to be in the system.
What I really need is a diagram that outlines the proper wiring for using the DC-DC, meter, required fuse(s) and on\off switch for the cranking battery and 3 12v 100ah trolling motor batteries. the trolling motor batteries and the cranking battery also have a on-board charger that plugs in when vessel is land bond.
Ive looked at all the system diagrams and all are somewhat different and make sense, although they all mix the battery types for the DC chargers and I need a system diagram for all lithium.
trolling batteries all have there own BMS, the cranking battery is a Dakota Lithium 12v/60ah dual purpose with 1000cc, the trolling batteries are (3) 12/v100ah wired in series. the cranking battery has an on/off switch.
