I am planning to setup a Victron system in a shop that is back hauled to my residence (240 connection), this shop will have it’s own batteries and solar, but I only need one 120v Multiplus. I know I can I use an Autotransformer in between the connection to the house and the shop’s 120v panel to step the 240v from the house to 120v in the shop. My question is does the Autotransformer work well with two way power? So the shop’s solar panels can feed back to the house over the 240v and the legs will be equal?

No real reason why not, transformers don’t care which direction the power is flowing…
