Autotransformer running from ecoflow is growling badly

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to run an autotransformer from the 120v of an Ecoflow Delta 3 Max but whichever wiring I choose it is growling badly.

I read the sine wave from the Ecoflow might not be good enough to run through a transformer. Could that be the only issue?

I do get 240v split phase while it is growling so I’m pretty sure the wiring is fine.

Is there anything I could try?

What victron components are involved with this system?

Only a 32a Autotransformer being fed by 120v from the ecoflow. No load at the moment as I was trying it out before testing my well pump with it.

I’m trying to reproduce the result from this video where it seems to work flawlessly. Only difference is the Delta 3 max plus vs Delta 2
