I know a FET is a passive component. However, FET-products like the Mastervolt Battery Mate have monitoring circuitry that have a low but non-zero standby current. How about the Argofet products, do they involve active circuitry with a non-zero standby current. The manual does not make a statement, nor can I find any statement in the web. Should there be a standby current, is it drawn from the input or (hopefully not) from the output(s).
Argofet
It’s a dumb thing, no standby current but totally “off”, that’s why there is no mention of standby current
Very good for off-grid applications. Thanks.!
A (mos)FET is a kind of relay thing in semiconductor form
