Ah setting for batteries in series

I am programming a Multi plus.
I have 4 lithium batteries wired in pairs in series and in parallel; so I’ve effectively got 2 24v batteries in parallel.

The general tab is asking me for the ah of the batteries.
Somewhere I read to just add all the 300ah together to get 1200ah total, but surely I should put in 600ah because each 24v battery is still 300ah at 24v and there are 2 of them.

So what setting; 600ah or 1200ah?
Thanks

This.
24v 300Ah batt paralleled with a 24v 300Ah batt = 600Ah @ 24v.

So I definitely need to enter 600ah in that setting, not 1200ah?

Rule is simple if in series VOLTS go up, if in parallel Ah goes up.

In you case one single battery is 12V 150AH, right?

These two in series = 24V 150AH

If you put two banks of 24V 150AH in parallel you get 24V 300AH

Thanks,
Each battery is actually 300ah at 12v but I understand the logic now;
With this array it’s 600ah at 24v

Changed the ah setting to 600 and the generator finally switched off automatically because it had reached the required % charge.
Thanks for the advice.
