Adjusting voltage where frequency shift occurs on Multiplus 2

Hi,

I have a an island system based on a multiplus 2 and AC coupled solar. The pv inverter assistent is enabled. I am only aware of being able to change frequencies and a voltage off set when to reengage pv inverters by changing frequency from -say- 53 to 50 Hz in case of overvoltage.

The system will keep 50 Hz until the battery is reaching 28.8V (in a 24V system) and only then starts to regulate towards 53 Hz. I would like to adjust this target voltage to a reduced amount, say 28 volts and cannot seem to find a means to do that.

I was told I could do that via VictronConnect, however when selecting the multiplus2 within I can only see the overview, when trying to access the preferences I am told to use the Mk3 device. I don´t have that but am using a Mk2.2 device which seems to communicate just fine. So bonus question Is there a way to enable VictronConnect access proper?

Cheers

The MP2 increases frequency based on battery state of charge. Parameters are the frequencies in PV assistant to

  • start ramp down e.g. 50,2Hz
  • Set 0% power e.g. 51,6Hz
  • Safety switch off e.g. 53,0 Hz
and the voltage from MP2 battery monitor in case of no managed battery.

SOC and voltage depends on managed battery or battery monitor.

Frequency depends on PV assistant parameters.

I hope this helps…
