Adding support for DSE motor control unit DSEE800?

I have successfully added a DSE 4520 MKII genset controller to my Cerbo GX system. There’s some info about that here: Deep Sea aka DSE generator controller update - #8 by ptrenz

Now I have also gotten a DSEE800 motor control unit which I am hooking up to my main engine (CAT D343) and it would be great if I could integrate it into the Cerbo system. How would I go about adding support for that unit? Do I need to program som scripts? Or can I add custum config files somehow?

The unit is connected through Modbus TCP.

As long as the DSE Modbus control registers have the same ID’s then this should work. If the data ID’s are the same, then that would be a bonus.

Same IDs as what?

I have emailed DSE to obtain a list of the Modbus registers. But I still need a way to map these registers to different parameters/functions in the Cerbo GX.

I think with the DSE you can set up a custom set of modbus registers…
