AC through Quattro 48V, 10k or 48VDC direct?

I have a quattro 48v, 10k. I am trying to choose between running my AC through it on 230VAC or running it directly off batteries (48VDC).
230VAC option has losses of the quattro (between 30% and 5% depending on temp and other loads.) 48VDC option requires specialist 48VDC compressor etc. Can be done but more work, more cost, etc.

Logic case A:
If the losses aren’t that high, and the Quattro needs some load if its on, maybe running it through the Quattro is fine.

Logic Case B:
Direct off 48VDC batteries is the most efficient and leaves more capacity available to be used in the quattro.

Opinions with some of your justification would be appreciated.

quattro conversion efficiency is very good, the cost and complexity of DC AC system (big cables, and so on) is not worth it !

The other way is to step down the voltage with a converter to whatever the system voltage is you need, but then you are converting. And why complicate your life?
