Im new to Victron and installed a 3000 Multiplus X II to replace the old 1000 Dynamic Inverter in a travel trailer. The old inverter had one 12/3 wire going from it to the panel on a 15amp breaker controlling just 3 outlets, two of the outlets are where my TVs are plugged in. I disconnected that line from the 1000 inverter and connected it to AC Out 2. Im not getting power to the AC Out 2 and based on research it looks like I need to create a relay. My question is which 2 relays to use, I need the TV outlets petty much continuously due to access at random times or without having to log in or out of the app? So in other words can the AC Out2 line to be permanent considering there will be only a little amount of draw from time to time?
Ac out 2 is only powered when there is power on ac input and that power is being passed thru. Move your circuit to ac output 1.
You can install the Programmable Relay Assistant, and control the AC-Out 2 relay based on a condition. For example, setting it to ON when battery DC voltage is greater than 10V (which should be all the time, assuming a 12V system). If you only create the ON condition, it will never turn off.
Hi Derrick,
I guess I didnt fully explain, I upgraded to 300ah LiFePO4. I spliced the original shore power with the shore continuing to AC IN on the inverter and the AC Out 1 was the splice to the panel. So for some reason the original inverter had the one 12/3 line for the 3 outlets. So, once I installed everything and disconnected the old inverter, I’m now missing power at those 3 outlets. I assumed AC Out 2 was automatically hot.
Rick,
Thanks will give that a try.
