AC and DC load consumption

My consumption consists of both AC and DC loads, as shown in image 1.

However, in the graph (image 2), my DC consumption is not included in the actual consumption (red bar), only in the forecast (hatched red bar).

Is this a recent update to VRM?

From the VRM documentation:

The calculated value for ‘DC Power’ is not used in any way by the GX, beyond just being displayed ‘on screen’. In particular it is not logged on the VRM portal and it is not included in system calculation and it does not appear as part of the recorded Solar Yield.

Is that something you know as a fact, or are you guessing?
Because it doesn’t sound right-Victron says that their product is a market-leading solution for motorhomes, boats, and off-grid systems.
These are places where there’s usually both AC and DC consumption.

If you’re right, then that would mean VRM can’t monitor the consumption as Victron promises.

Aren’t there any Victron people who can explain why there’s a system that can’t monitor the actual consumption?

Nick isn’t guessing but stating a fact from here:

In an otherwise well-thought-out (if almost complete) universe, it’s surprising that Victron doesn’t include DC consumption in the total usage.
Do you know if a future update has been considered that would provide a more accurate display of the consumption, possibly based on a shunt or data from the BMS?

As a community we aren’t privy to that information.
The dashboard is only one part of vrm.
You can chart custom widgets in advanced. Using a shunt in the DC load role will provide visibility, just not on the dash.

VRM is a free Victron service. DC loads are available at Venus dbus and you might setup own VRM custom widget therefore:

It wasn’t meant as a personal offense that I brought up the question.
I have full respect for your contribution to this community — that’s not in doubt.
I’d simply like to get in touch with someone who truly knows the details. After all, Victron promises that data from their SmartShunt (via a GX device) can be monitored on the VRM Dashboard.
How can one submit a feature request?

VRM is a key selling point for Victron, and in the manual for their SmartShunt, they promise that consumption can be monitored via a GX device.
Maybe it’s just me not fully grasping your response — but does your example actually relate to total consumption?

None taken.
Create a new topic in this section and tag it as feature request. Make the title obvious as well.
I fully get your point. There are improvements coming to make the UI more friendly for these types of workloads but details we don’t have yet.
Thanks.
