You will get mixed results/feelings because it doesn’t adjust dynamically the max charge current based on the DC consumption for AC conversion.
But, if I were you, based on how big the battery is and how much current can handle when charging, I would disable current limit or set it greater enough for your peace of mind regarding the battery charging current, enough for this situation to not happen.
Or, the best solution: supplement the battery bank up until you don’t need current limiting.
I know, not the best solution for your wallet…
It’s always better to have bigger batteries bank, it’s 100% good advice ))))
I will try to double it this or next year, but the real problem is chemistry LiNMC. It’s working perfectly at any kind of charging current up to 1,5-2C but only first 4-5 years, after that period huge disbalance happens between weakest cells and best cells, as result - you need pay attention to charge current limits… to give them time to balance.
Unfortunately, 7 years ago, that location has not offers with LiFePO4 at all, only LiNMC based on 18650 and 21700 cells.
Not a big problem, but it is what it is.
