3 QuatroPlus mit 1phase Genset

Anybody experience whether you can bridge the three-phase network with a single-pase generator in Off-Grid mode?
I do not know if the installation will works with 3pc. Quatro Plus…

Thanks for helping.
Uwe

Hi @Uwe70,

You can’t bridge in 3 phases, but you can have your single phase generator on the input of one of the three quattro, you can set one AC input on a three phases system in VE.Bus system configurator.

I have an installation with 3 multiplus2 10 kVA in 3ph with a 10 kVA generator on one of the multi, it’s been working very well so far.

You could have also a charger to charge directly the batteries from the generator without using the quattros, but it’s not necessary.

I hope it answered your question

do i understood rightly for example… i Use a 3 pcs… multiplus 10kW for my 3phas ESS and that works in offgrid well. and no i am not sure… do i could give one of the three phase multi plusII the singel AC IN…Or i use a seperate (e.g. 5kVA Multiplus) for seperate loading the dc Site.

I would like order in the next view weeks hardware. but would be sure, that work at the end. Uwe

I’m sorry I’m not sure to understand you properly…

What I can tell you is that you can have a configuration with three 10 kVA Multiplus II in three-phase, and charge the batteries using a single-phase generator using one of the multipluses integrated charger.
The generator will provide AC current to the AC loads of the multiplus, let’s say it’s L1, where it’s connected, and the others multi are going to use DC current from batteries and from multi (L1).

I hope it’s clear enought to understand, i’m not a native speaker.
