3-phase ESS - L2 Quattro not charging during scheduled charge period

Hello

We are having an issue with one of the Quattro’s in a 3-phase ESS system not charging during a scheduled charge period. The issue is somewhat intermittent and occasionally the unit does charge normally, along with the other two units which consistently charge as normal.

The issue was first brought to our attention by the customer over a month ago, and at this point it appeared that the L2 Quattro would actually discharge during the scheduled charge period, counteracting the charging of the L1 and L3 Quattro’s. See below example graphs showing discrepancy between AC Input and AC Output power for all units (scheduled charge period is 23.30-05.30) and slow climb of SOC% due to the discharge on L2.

The customer subsequently (on 6th Jan) set up a schedule in their Loxone system to force charge the Victron system during the scheduled off-peak window (Modbus TCP integration), and since he did this the L2 Quattro behaviour has changed so that it now idles during this charging period i.e. still not charging, but not discharging at least! See example graphs below highlighting this new behaviour.

Last night the system charged normally across all 3 phases - see below.

Has anybody come across this issue before or have any suggestions for troubleshooting??

For reference, the full system specification is as follows:
3 x Quattro 48/10000/140-2x100 (firmware 552)
Cerbo GX (firmware v3.53)
5 x BYD LVL15.4 with BMU
EM530 grid meter (all loads connected to AC out)
2 x SmartSolar MPPT RS 450/200 (v1.19)
1 x Fronius Symo 6.0-3-M
EM530 meter (monitoring 10 kW 3-phase PV inverter)

Happy to provide further details if necessary - just let me know!

Cheers
Henry

Anybody able to help??? Customer is chasing us on this and we are at a complete loss as to why the one unit seems to have a mind of its own during scheduled charge periods!

Happy to provide further details if necessary, just let me know.

Thanks
Henry
