winter charging, need help/ideas

I want to run my blink camera over the winter, but in the ADK mountains we see alot of snow. My system is currently a 3 season setup, no heat when I am not there. I have a lithium battery bank, but I cant charge it when it goes below freezing. I was thinking about adding gel battery bank with a switch, so when I close the cabin I could switch it to gel battery bank that could charge in freezing conditions, but would I kill the gel battery if there is snow on the panels and is dead for a few days or weeks till the panels clear and recharge the batteries? I know this is alot of info, but figured it could hurt to ask if someone could shed some light and give some ideas on what would work better or if the gel batteries would be fine dead for a few days and a recharge.
