Victron Phoenix & Grid tie frequency shifting

thanks for the reply. I have the charger tab enabled, but what is strange, is that when I go to load the PV inverter assistant,it opens a dialog box and

it says it is not necessary and closes the dialog box ?!? So I dont actually get a chance to do any configuration. I thought

that maybe I was missing a step, or had some other configuration issue, or I was using the wrong assistant. When in operation, I am

certain that no frequency shifting is happening.

That’s strange.
Are you sure you have a VE Bus Phoenix inverter and the latest VE Configure and Assistants?
Please check the version/firmware number (VE Configure → Target → Show software version).

When I add the PV Inverter support assistant to my Phoenix’s config, I get the same config options as I do for a Multiplus.

What I do know is that for a Multi RS (and maybe also an Inverter RS), this assistant should not be necessary.

Yes, its absolutely a Ve-Bus model, I have two Phoenix 24-3000 inverters running in parallel.
What is unusual is that when I looked up firmware, “456” it does not exist at Victrons firmware resource/download page.
It occurs to me that maybe that firmware was removed because of a bug. Last year, I did a Mulitplus 48-5000 install with a
new Cerbo-GX-S and the Cerbo was badly bugged with a problem that crashed it every week requiring a physical reset.
After about six updates, its finally stable, but still displays the PV inverter on that install on AC-out, when its on AC-in.

So, I am going to update both my Phoenix 24-3000 units to 556 and see if it is any better.

thanks for the replies, this particular issue is very obscure and nobody else has any clue LoL.

Updated the firmware to 565 and problem solved. PV assistant could be configured and completed, all settings saved
and in real time I can see my SMA inverter being throttled and the AC out Hz cycles are indeed raised, doing the throttling.
