V3.70~25, SolarEdge SE5K not showing

We have had problems with integrating the SE5K into the Victron system from start (installed in May-25). It has been working short periods on some 3.64-betas, but been lost again a couple of days later. Now it will not come back when performing a reboot in Venus OS.

With the current official release of 3.64 the SE5K-inverter is not shown. Nor is it in latest beta 3.70~25. Another system with an older SE-inverter running on the latest beta is working perfectly.

Some facts;

  • Under PV Inverters there is an entry.

  • Nothing can be seen in ‘PV Inverters’→‘Detected IP devices’
  • Nothing can be seen in ‘Modbus TCP/UDP devices’→’Saved devices’
  • Devices are on the same wired network.
  • An energy meter (VM-3P75CT) is on the same wired network and works well.
  • SE-inverter is running the latest firmware (configured and updated by SE-support)

I’m running into the exact same issue, 2 inverters on the same network and same settings besides IP addresses.

192.168.11.13 is sending info nicely to the cerbo, 192.168.11.15 is not sending anything but has been detected atleast once.

The one we have working is the old model with the lcd display. I guess it is running an old firmware. The one not working is the newer model without the display. It also have the latest firmware installed.

They are on two different sites, so we are not having the same issue as you have.

What models are you running? Can it be that the lcd-version is easier to get to work than the newer model?

Both are new (HD-Wave with Setapp) models, a 17K and 20K side by side.

Next up is changing the network to see if it helps.

Interesting. Please share what you find.

I think my problems are of the same type as found here;
