I remember from the old forum someone saying that the best way to restart Node-RED is to use the switch located in the VRM under
Settings → Venus OS Large Features → Node-RED → Node-RED
I wonder if that can be done from the command line as well. What does this UI switch do under the hood? Is it a command like svc -d /opt/victronenergy/service/node-red-venus
?
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I know about the svc command but I wonder if the UI Switch is using that command, or if it’s doing something else. Is /opt/victronenergy/service/node-red-venus, the right path?
Ah… Understand now… Sorry, English is not my first language.
You are asking how, when the VRM webpage switch is pressed, the command is sent from the webpage to the system (Cerbo) itself and then, inside Venus OS, how is Node-Red stopped, right?
FWIK, the services are run from /service.
At boot, all subfolders from /opt/victronenergy/service are copied to /service and then run from there.
