Does any one know if the Skylla charger is better at charging from a generator than the Multiplus? At the moment the power is too dirty for the Multiplus to charge the batteries so looking at using another charger/chargers to charge the batteries from the generator. The generator is a 315kva unit so its not small. This is only for worst case senario if we lose the grid for an extended period of time. I would run the generator on pass-through and wire the dc charger direct to the generator before the install so they can slowly top the batteries back up again, well that’s my current thinking!! Just need ideas to get around the issue.
