After update to 3.81 and reboot , all of the shelly device “PlugPMG3[xxx…]” the given Name (example “Kitchen Plug”) have set back to the Device name : PlugPMG3 channel 0.
If I change it back, to example “Kitchen Plug”, is show up , but after reboot GX , is back to device name.

Thanks for your report. I can’t reproduce this myself but I think I can see what the problem is. I’ll make the name updating and fetching more robust to connection issues.
First is Change Name, 2 Picture is after reboot.
After reboot is show the Name for about 2-3 sec. then is change to PlugPMG3…

I see you’re using a Plug PM Gen3, which is a plug without switching capabilities. It only has the ‘PM1’ RPC component that the service talks to. I just discovered a bug in setting the name for the PM1 component, for the case the PM1 component is the only supported component the device offers.
So, currently it will always use the fallback name and the set name is not stored on the shelly.
This will be fixed ASAP.
