Hi All.
My system consisting of 3xMP2 5000/48’s, 3 x Smartsolar 250/100, a Cerbo GX and two sets of 18S EVE LF280K will be extended with again 2 sets of EVE cells. I will revert from 18 to 16 cells so the capacitors of the MP2’s will have a better life.
All batteries will leave tha house and get their place somewhere in the garden or on the flat roof between our and the neighbours house.
The current two sets are equipped with 123smartbms bms systems and work like a charm.
Since I will have 5 battery banks (one separate system that will be built with all the remaining batteries and a new t oorder MP2 3000 as a backup system) I need to communicate over a big longer distance and here the 123smartbms is not the best choice due to a two wire communication.
Therefore I am looking for a new BMS for 4 battery banks with wires to each cell instead of on the poles mounted bms pcb’s.
Has anyone a recent experience with rec, eemus or another reiable brand that communicates over CANbus to the Cerbo AND has the possibility to look into each cell over ethernet from a distance with a CANbus converter to a lapop?
I want to read all cell voltages and temperatures from a distance when all is built into a heated and cooled metal stainless steel housing and the 13smartbms doesn’t offer a possibility to monitor each cell without the need of a closeby bluetooth connection.
I am curious what changed in the last two years…
