Hi all,
I have installed on my steel canalboat a full Victron Lithium system, including BMS, smart batteries, solar panels etc.
Following the Victron drawings for narrowboat I have connected one negative wire from the Victron busbar to the alternator, which is connected to the engine and the boat’s steel shell. The engine is bolted to the steel bottom with bolts, and has a ground wire connected to the steel shell.
My question: would I possibly run into issues such as galvanic corrosion because of my Victron negative bus bar is connected to the shell of the boat? Thanks in advance.
