Hi,
I want to install an ESS system, starting from nothing for home consumption.
I want to connect a MultiPlus-II in parallel to the network grid, and solar panels connected to the battery, as in below schema.
The question is : where are these black cables connected exactly ? AC-out 1 for critical loads, and AC-out 2 for the network and the load ? In this case does it mean that AC-In is not used, and the network power (for example to charge the batteries) is coming through AC-out 2 ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Grid is always connected to ACin. Critical loads to ACout.
Thanks , in this case it means that when batteries are used to increase the power available to the main load, it goes out of the Multiplus through the AC-in ?
Yes, and back to grid if you want that (and are allowed to).
You will need a grid meter for this (ET112 or ET340/EM540 or victron VM3P75)
Not necessarely, the external current sensor works as well, like its drawn in the schematic above
True!
